The employment and labour policies in India have developed at an accelerated rate, with amendments in law majorly modifying the landscape of the labour compliances. With changing labour regulations, including the 4 new labour codes (“Labour Codes“) having come into force in India with effect from November 21, 2025, the Indian Government has replaced 29 erstwhile labour laws to simplify compliance, streamline enforcement and modernise outdated laws. The team has been supporting clients engaged in manufacturing, consumer products, content creation, building and construction sector, in this transitionary phase, to ensure seamless compliance with the Labour Codes. We are advising clients on the required changes they need to make in relation to the workforce engaged by them. Our advisory covers the following:
